A definition is a statement of the exact meaning of a word. Looking at the interior (connotations/implicit meanings) of these ideas is just as important as examining the exterior they emulate (denotations/explicit meanings). Hence, when coming to grasp the significance of all three of these terms, I not only parallel them with imagery but also what they merely represent as a phrase. Definitions are important to this course and this is my takeaway of what ‘revolution,’ ‘humanities,’ and ‘Humanities’ mean.
